Originally from New York¹s Long Island, I have been a resident of Seattle for 19 years. I currently live in the Madison Park neighborhood with my partner and our two young sons. We love the Northwest Lifestyle and adventure, so there’s no better place to live than Seattle!
Having lived in several neighborhoods in Seattle, Madison Park has offered us so much to suit our Lifestyle: Shops, restaurants, parks, beaches and much more. Plus, an easy short ride to downtown where we can enjoy all the other amenities that Seattle has to offer. The best of both worlds; the neighborhood-feel and vibrant downtown close by.
Bob Steedman is by far one of the best agents we have worked with. He is meticulous in his research of specific areas, the history of the home he is showing, and very knowledgeable about real estate requirements for each county he is working in. He is also very patient as we navigate the requirements we have for our next home. Yes, we were very picky. In addition to all of the above, he is very fun.... that does matter when making such a big, emotional purchase.
We love him! Great overall experience. Bob is very patient, knowledgeable, funny, and professional. I was very impressed. He is easy to work with and very good at his job. He went above and beyond, I would recommend him to any family or friend looking to buy or sell a home.
Selling a home is not an easy thing. But from the get-go, Bob Steedman took a lot of the weight off of my shoulders. He was clear-eyed and accurate in explaining the process and the possible outcomes, saw what made the home special, and put it on the market to best advantage. His network of professionals for staging, interior painting, and photo/video were all top-notch and quite fairly priced. Bob got to work right away, had many showings and open houses, put the word out to other brokers, and got a steady stream of likely buyers through the place. I was extremely happy with the way the home was marketed, thought it looked its best, and was happy with the speed of the sale and the price. In other words, Bob was the consummate professional, and I recommend him without reservation. In addition, he is great to communicate with, took a lot of time and effort to go beyond the call, and made the process fun. He is both very professional and also just a great person to work with. I actually can not imagine having a better agent. I always felt that working with Bob, I was getting the best.
We have had the pleasure of working with Bob Steedman in our house hunt this year. He has been one of the hardest working and responsive professionals that I've worked with in any field for a number of years. Every call, question, and concern was responded to quickly, honestly, and confidently. He's straight up and honest, if he doesn't know the answer to something or feel he can get a better answer from someone, he will. We had specific wants, and Bob was very patient with us and eventually found the perfect house for us the moment it hit the market. We saw the house on a Friday and immediately put an offer in. The seller accepted on Saturday but kept their open house Sunday. There was considerable interest in it from buyers during the open house and we believe strongly that Bob's quickness prevented us from a costly bidding war. We will definitely use Bob again in the future and look forward to recommending him to our friends for their future home purchases.
Bob was a huge help to us as out-of-town buyers, not only in terms of the real estate market, but also all the other stuff newbies need to know about schools, restaurants, commuting considerations etc. My husband and I dashed into town with our three kids, with limited time to find a house, and Bob was incredibly accommodating of our tight schedule, working late into the night and early in the morning to get paperwork done before we had to leave town. He was patient with our kids, and even kept them entertained at a coffee shop for a little while while we met with school administrators! Bob seems to truly enjoy his job; he made the stressful task of buying a house in a new market a little more enjoyable for us.
