Mark was born and raised in Seattle where he met Lavender, his wife of 35 years. They moved to Renton and then to Kent where they raised their family of four children. Mark and Lavender love to entertain capitalizing on Lavender's excellent cooking and baking skills, specializing in gourmet desserts.  They have a quote over their dining room that reads:

"Good Friends, Good Wine & Something with Garlic"

Mark and Lavender enjoy the Pacific Northwest and all the amenities it has to offer.  You may find them sampling wines at the plethora of wineries throughout the region or spending a few days at the ocean - particularly Canon Beach or the San Juan Islands.  They enjoy visiting local attractions such as the Seattle Waterfront, Pike Place Market, Crystal Mountain summer gondola rides and scenic drives throughout the Kitsap Penninsula.  Family is highly valued by both and you will find them spending time with their children and grandchildren on a regular basis. Additionally, they are involved in volunteer and charity work through their church. Mark also enjoys backpacking with his children throughout the Cascade and Olympic Mountains.

Having been self-employed most of his life, Mark truly understands the depth and meaning of customer service. He embarked on his real estate career in 1991at Prudential Meridian Valley Realty and within a few years teamed up with Bonnie Williams. Together they have consistently been one of the top producing teams in the Northwest. When Prudential Corporate sold their real estate division, the new company opted not to renew Meridian Valley Realty’s franchise agreement. Understanding the importance of a national affiliation, and staying ahead of the “technology curve”, they decided to join Coldwell Banker Bain in 2014.
