Our office has been involved in the Salvation Army Angel Tree for the past several years with the Whatcom County Association of Realtors, but this year we really wanted to step up and take on the entire project.  For the first three weeks of December, our agents, staff, and their families donated time, energy, and money at the Angel Tree - even extending the original deadline to accommodate a last minute influx of gift tags - so no child would go without gifts under the tree.

Everyone loves the experience, and it always gets us in the holiday spirit to see our community come together to help local familes.  One of our favorite stories was that an entire kindergarten class came in with their teachers to get tags for other children.  That class donated over $900 in gifts including a bike.  Now that's the holiday spirit!

  • 503 local familes received assistance
  • 1,090 children (4,352 tags)
  • $124,900 worth of food, clothing, and gifts were collected
  • Our office donated over 260 man hours

We love staying in touch and interacting with our local community, so what better way to do that then spend a day at the Fair?! On Saturday, August 16th 20 of our agents and staff donned their Coldwell Banker Bain t-shirts and spent the day with people from throughout Whatcom County and beyond. Over 40,000 people came through the gates to have a family day of fun, and we were so happy to be a part of it.

To get in the Fair spirit, we raffled off two Seahawks jerseys, a Webber BBQ, and a Big Green Egg BBQ as the Grand Prize. We have over 1,000 entries, and four lucky locals wn some fun prizes.

We are so appreciative of the opportunity to support our community and spend time outside of the office with our teammates, friends, and clients. We hope to do it again next year with even more agents proudly wearing their CB Bain gear.
