As the Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Landover Corporation, the holding company of Coldwell Banker Bain, Bill is responsible for the leadership and direction of CB Bain. With a robust background in mortgage and commercial banking, land development, new construction and brokerage management, Bill is respected as one of the most knowledgeable and resourceful real estate executives in the Pacific Northwest.

Bill began his career in banking and mortgage lending whereby he was responsible for launching the mortgage group for Bank of the West. He then became a land developer and builder prior to leading the real estate operations of Overlake Realty.
In 1982, Bill joined William A. Bain Associates as manager of the Bellevue office and was soon promoted to President and General Manager. He later completed the buyout of Bain Associates, the acquisition of Company Real Estate Coldwell Banker, and the subsequent buyout of Prudential Preferred NW.

In 2000, Bill acquired eight offices in Portland through the purchase of Coldwell Banker Barbara Sue Seal Properties from Coldwell Banker National. In 2005, he acquired five more offices in the Tacoma area through the buyout of Hawkins Poe Realty. After the recent acquisitions of Century 21 and Coldwell Banker franchises, CB Bain now spans 30 offices from Bellingham, Washington, to Canby, Oregon.

Bill graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. He enjoys fishing, golf and soccer.
