Coldwell Banker Bain, a leading provider of real estate brokerage services throughout the Pacific Northwest and a market leader in sales of Puget Sound area luxury homes in 2017*, is pleased to announce the promotion of two key marketing executives – Rob Wachter and Scott Hannaman. Wachter, who served as Vice President of Marketing, has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer. Hannaman, currently serving as Senior Creative Director, has been named Executive Creative Director. The marketing division plays a critical role in the company’s long-term business strategy.

Before joining Coldwell Banker Bain in 2012, Wachter spent a significant part of his career operating a creative services firm he founded in 2004. The firm served clients ranging from technology behemoths to small real estate boutiques, turning their complicated goals into beautiful and seamless user experiences. He has also worked for and with several award-winning agencies, building high impact tools and executing on brand strategy campaigns. He was promoted to Vice President in 2016, building the company’s marketing department to one that serves as an in-house agency, one that is razor-focused on providing the company’s brokers with the highest-quality materials and marketing support.
Wachter is regularly sought out for his marketing expertise and insights as a speaker and panelist. He holds a B.A. in English Education from the University of Washington and B.A. in Ministry Leadership from Northwest University.
Hannaman leads the marketing division’s creative team and oversees the creative integrity of the company. Before joining Coldwell Banker Bain in 2016, he was a Principal with Drew Pearson Marketing, bringing more than 10 years’ experience as a creative lead and problem solver, with intimate knowledge of production processes and managing the creation of print and digital content. Moreover, Hannaman developed and deployed marketing strategies for start-up companies as well as mid-size and high-growth organizations. He studied Fine/Studio Arts at the University of Maryland.
*Statistics from the Northwest Multiple Listing Service (NWMLS) show that in 2017 Coldwell Banker Bain continues as a leader in the million dollar plus market, particularly in the higher price ranges (above $4M) where the company had more listings sold than any other real estate company.
