Coldwell Banker Bain (CB Bain), a leading provider of real estate brokerage services throughout Washington and Oregon, and a market leader in home sales in 2020*, has announced that its brokers have raised $2,270,706 for community nonprofit organizations via its Community Partnership program. This amount reflects total donations raised since the inception of the program in 1988 through year-end 2020. In 2020, brokers actively partnered with 35 nonprofits.
The Community Partnership Program first launched in Washington where Coldwell Banker Bain brokers partnered with 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations that they strongly support and feel made a difference in their communities. Each time a member from the broker-supported nonprofit refers a real estate client to the broker and that referral results in a closed transaction, the broker and Coldwell Banker Bain donates an amount equal to 10% of the commission received to the nonprofit. More recently, the company’s Oregon brokers have joined the program, supporting local organizations and communities they strongly believe in through a partnership with Coldwell Banker Bain.
Said Mike Grady, CB Bain President and CEO, “We are so proud of the efforts of our brokers in making this program a success. We appreciate the work these wonderful organizations are doing in our communities, and believe it’s important for us to give back in markets where we work.”
