Coldwell Banker Bain Names New Leadership Appointments in Kirkland, Bellingham and Bellevue

Coldwell Banker Bain, a leading provider of real estate brokerage services throughout the Pacific Northwest, and a market leader in home sales in 2020*, has announced that Dean Ulrich and Ryan Larsson have been named principal managing brokers of its Kirkland and Bellingham offices, respectively. Additionally, Alan Berkwitt, a top-producing and 35-year real estate veteran has rejoined Coldwell Banker Bain as the Bellevue office’s assistant principal managing broker. Alan worked for the company as a broker for nearly 12 years until 2008.

Dean brings to Coldwell Banker Bain of Kirkland a long and diverse background in the real estate industry, including previously serving in the same role in Bellingham. He has listed and sold real estate for 29 years – this included extensive experience with relocation services, REO services, resort sales, and the luxury market, Dean also opened a residential construction company, building high-end speculative and custom homes in Whatcom & Skagit Counties.  

Ryan is a long-time resident of Whatcom County, and has a 20-year real estate career.

He has been recognized by REAL Trends as one of the "Best Real Estate Agents in America" and by Coldwell Banker as a consistent top volume producing agent year-after-year achieving awards ranging from the President’s Award to the prestigious Diamond Award. Ryan has earned the designation of Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) and has been named one of the top 10 agents of Washington State.

In his new role at Coldwell Banker Bain of Bellevue, Alan will assist the office’s management team in directing one of the larger sales forces in the area. In addition to marketing and contract assistance, he will oversee the branch training and development processes.

Alan began his real estate career employed by a land developer while attending Florida State University. After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Real Estate from FSU’s College of Business, he spent the following 10 years as an appraiser, followed by 25 years as a real estate agent in the greater Seattle market.
