Coldwell Banker Bain, a leading provider of real estate brokerage services throughout the Pacific Northwest, and a market leader in home sales in 2020*, proudly announces six of its associates received recognition during the recent Seattle King County REALTOR® (SKCR) Awards and Installation Banquet, held on Dec. 10 at the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle. Wayne Stephens, Joe Galindo and Todd Shively each received 2022 appointments to the SKCR Board of Directors, while individual award winners included CB Bain’s Terry Miller, Lifetime Achievement; Beth Billington, Realtor Achievement; and James Campbell, Five to Follow.

“I’m thrilled to see these outstanding professionals receive recognition for their hard work, leadership and unyielding dedication to their clients,” said Mike Grady, Coldwell Banker Bain chief executive officer. “From our REALTORS® appointed to the 2022 SKCR Board of Directors, to the individuals representing the best of category in their respective awards, we are tremendously proud of the entire team and the work they all do as standard-setters in the area of real estate.”

Grady noted that three of eight at-large director appointees for the 2022 SKCR Board of Directors and three of 11 individual award winners were from Coldwell Banker Bain, representing a strong company presence within the Association.

Joe Galindo of Coldwell Banker Bain Bellevue, Todd Shively of Coldwell Banker Bain Capitol Hill, and Wayne Stephens of Coldwell Banker Bain Lake Union will serve as Board Directors. Lifetime Achievement awardee Terry Miller, Coldwell Banker Bain

The Lifetime Achievement award is given to those special individuals who have shared their dedication, leadership and real estate knowledge with their peers. In short, they are those who have left a lasting mark.

Miller has been a leading broker for more than 35 years in the Northwest and a REALTOR® association leader for much of her career. She has been a Board Director at the local, state and national association level and served as the National Association of REALTORS® Federal Political Coordinator to Washington’s 7th Congressional District for over ten years. In 2008, she was named REALTOR® of the Year by Seattle King County REALTORS® for her record of service.

She joined Coldwell Banker Bain (then William A. Bain Associates) in 1988. She managed the Capitol Hill office for Coldwell Banker Bain for 9.5 years ending in 1997. She then returned to sales and is an honored member of the International President’s Elite division. She holds the CRB, CRS and CIPS designations and earned the PMN designation as a member of the Women’s Council of REALTORS®.

Miller represented REALTORS® on a one-year Burn Ban Task Force for the Puget Sound Clean Air Agency. In 2004, Terry was appointed by the Governor to serve on a two-year Task Force to review/re-write the Department of Licensing real estate code. She also brings her acumen to a volunteer position at HomeSight, a non-profit community development corp. located in Southeast Seattle, where she serves on its Board of Directors. Miller is the current Board President in her second term, and she remains very involved in affordable housing. Currently, HomeSight is busy with overseeing a $200M project at Othello Square in Southeast Seattle.

REALTOR® Achievement awardee Beth Billington, Coldwell Banker Bain

This award (nominated by a REALTOR from a different office) is based on an outstanding achievement or multiple contributions of a REALTOR® to the local and/or state levels of the REALTOR® Association, and/or to the Industry as a whole.

Billington has been recognized by her peers as a “beacon of professionalism” in a real estate career spanning nearly 30 years and with over $1.5 billion in sales. Her colleagues and competitors alike describe her as a kind, generous, fun and straight-forward REALTOR® with incredibly clear ethics. She is involved in the community and has supported numerous charitable boards and causes financially and as a volunteer, including Hopelink, USO, Bellevue Schools Foundation, Catholic Community Services and Union Gospel Mission to name a few. Beth consistently achieves recognition in the top 1% of Coldwell Banker’s network of agents, including the prestigious designation of International Society of Excellence. Beth has built her business success on sound principles and earning the respect of both clients and colleagues.

Five to Follow awardee James Campbell, Coldwell Banker Bain

This award (nominated by another REALTOR® from Coldwell Banker Bain) recognizes a newer REALTOR® who has demonstrated exceptional talent or potential.

Campbell has been recognized as a 2021 Rising Star by Five Star Professional and “Most Prominent Agent” by Homesnap. Serving his clients with care and integrity is his biggest priority. He often says, “I do real estate with my running shoes on,” because the market moves quickly, and he has learned quickly along with it. He consistently shows up to Young Professionals Network events to build connections. “If you’re going to follow me, lace up for a marathon, because I’m in it for the long haul,” he says.
